The "On-Target" Sprayer in one of the most exciting new technology sprayers on the market. It utilizes the On Target "Silver Bullet" nozzle. This patented induction charging nozzle provides a electrostatic charge to the spray particles which in most applications increases coverage 200 and 300% compared to conventional sprayers. The magnetic attraction between the plant surface and the spray particles are strong enough to actually change the direction of the particles to provide complete coverage on both sides of the leaf surfaces.
The "On Target" Sprayer uses a large displacement air compressor to atomize the spray particles, not high speed air as is provided by fan type sprayers. The low velocity of the air stream delivers the spray cloud to the target, not beyond, like the high-speed air that is produced by air shear sprayers. This cuts down on drift and helps in increase coverage by delivering the spray where it is needed. The "On-Target" Sprayer is one of the only sprayers that can actually pay for itself in a very short time. Because of the large increases in coverage that most growers are experiencing they feel confident in lowering rates of chemicals used per acre by as much as 50%. When you look at your conventional sprayer it's not hard to see how much of the spray is going someplace other than the target. That spray that is going "off target" is drift. The spray is delivered to the target with less water. Most rates are 10 to 30 gallons per acre. This allow for more acres to be sprayed per tank, another significant saving.
The "On-Target" Sprayer is available in several model with 200 and 300 gallon stainless tanks, single to triple row booms, single and double axles. A hydraulically driven self-priming centrifugal pump is used for agitation and fluid delivery to the booms. Extra heavy duty frames and booms are standard. All electric over hydraulic boom controls with electric valves are standard.
